David P. Nebbeling, D.O.

Licensed Osteopathic Physician practicing in: Indiana, Iowa & Michigan

David Nebbeling was born in Holland, Michigan and raised in East Lansing, MI. He completed his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Microbiology and Public Health. He went on to attend Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. He graduated in 1986 and completed his hospital training at the Davenport Medical Center in Iowa. While still a medical student, Dr. Nebbeling was asked to assist in the teaching of laboratory medicine and osteopathic manual medicine. To this day, he lectures and assists with hands-on training to medical students, residents, and licensed physicians in the following areas: prolothereapy, prolozone, chelation, neural therapy, meso therapy, nutrition and osteopathic manual medicine. Dr. Nebbeling is a valuable asset in the community of educators and students, in addition to his patients.

Dr. Nebbeling began his first private practice in 1987 in Blue Grass, IA. His current practice, Advanced Osteopathic Health, was established in 2005 and is located in Lansing, MI. In addition to seeing patients in three different states and traveling monthly for lecturing, he has found the time to volunteer as a medical missionary.

Dr, Nebbeling, regarded as one of the “Top 20 Alternative Doctors in America”, stays on the cutting edge of holistic and complementary medicine by participating both as a student and an educator at the most advanced and intensive program for continuing medical education in existence. His goal is to provide the highest level of care, prevention and treatment available to enrich the lives of each Patient he cares for, and he does an amazing job of it. Patients travel near and far to be under his care.

David is a Father of 6 children in addition to being an involved member of his community and church. He currently lives with his family in the Lansing area. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his loved ones and collecting medical antiques. During Dr. Nebbeling’s last year of medical school, he faced a terrifying reality: his son was born with cancer.

“My 15-month-old son, Caleb, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. It was one of the most common cancers for a child to be born with — one out of 27 — but most children’s healthy immune systems quickly destroy the cancer cell, so the actual number of children who develop tumors is about nine per million. My son underwent chemo and radiation, which unfortunately were unsuccessful. During this ordeal, I knew in my heart that the way to fight cancer was to restore the body to health, not poison cancer cells and the immune system. I didn’t know how to do that back then or where to take my son for that kind of help, but I started learning about detoxification, nutrition, homeopathy, and even inventive ways to use prescription medicine to restore the body to health. There had to be another way. How do we build the immune system? How do we work with that? That made me start looking for a different solution.” And, he did.

On behalf of the staff of Dr. David P. Nebbeling, we welcome you to the family. We can’t wait to help keep you and your family at optimum health.
